Allowed Modifications

Modifications

To maintain fair gameplay and server performance, only a limited number of client-side modifications (mods) are allowed. Any unapproved or questionable mods should be considered disallowed unless you receive explicit approval.

Need clarification on a mod? You can send a message to Blake directly through this site to ask if a specific mod is allowed. Please allow time for a response, and assume the mod is not permitted until you receive an OK.

Allowed Modifications

  • Sodium – performance optimization
  • Minimap Mod (No Player Icons) – minimaps are allowed as long as they do not show other players
  • OptiFine – graphics and performance enhancements
  • Replay Mod – for capturing and replaying gameplay footage
  • Shaders Mod – visual enhancements only
  • Shulker Viewer / HUD Mods – allows viewing shulker contents and customizing heads-up display
  • Litematica - Allows one to build a building in creative and then plan over to survival, not allowed to use printer or any other placement enchaining features.

Mods that provide any competitive advantage, automation, or player tracking features are strictly prohibited unless explicitly listed above or approved by staff.
